Shape Color Grid Acrylic Painting High School Art

For this assignment, I teach the students about organic and geometric shapes. They grid out a canvas and on one half they have to fill in every square with a different shape and color. The other half they can do what they want. It usually ends up being something very quick and loose because they are so sick of being precise by that point.

Liquify Model Photoshop High School Art

This Photoshop assignment is practicing the liquify tool on making a model larger-the opposite of how it is usually used. I had the kids watch a segment from the documentary Bigger, Stronger, Faster that talks about body image and photoshopping models.

Clone Stamp Photoshop High School Art

This is the first Photoshop assignment of the semester. Students use this old image to practice using the clone stamp.
