Building Symmetry

Augustin Lesage! Don't worry. He's dead. Thanks to ffffound and most-ghost.livejournal I was able to see these paintings. I don't know why I haven't seen them before. I feel like these could have almost had a bigger influence on young artists than Henry Darger's work has had in the last decade. Beautifully coded meaning. He could be saying anything. I prefer to think that these are degrees of glory within degrees of glory.
